How many Jumble Sales does it take to re-furbish a kitchen?
The Kitchen Fund was started with the proceeds of a Jumble Sale.
3 years and five Jumble Sales later the Kitchen is complete.
Many generous donations from individuals and groups were added to the fund and with grants from the Sita Trust (£10,693), The Church and Community Fund (£3,000) and the Garfield Weston Foundation (£3,000) the project has been fully financed.
Thank you to everyone, not only for your patience, but also your encouragement. It has helped make the re-furbishment a success and we now have a facility that will be used for many years in the work of St Mary's.
